Grakoth is the recording project
of David Lieder, a former United States Evangelical
recording artist who left the cult Christians and
now plays music for the Goddess as a witch and Kabalist.
Grakoth mixes rock and danceable pop for thinking
people, exploring and exploding hot button issues
and shallow soundbites: politics, paganism, materialism,
drug policy and so-called "family values."
Listeners of all political and personal
views love Grakoth for breaking down and blowing up
the easy labels that divide us. In addition to the
songs, vocals, guitars and keyboards of Lieder, Grakoth
features the mastering of Grammy-winner Ken Tamplin
as well as performances by jazz trumpeter and flautist
Don Juan, guitarists Jemal-Wade Hines, Kevin Page,
Peter Knowlton, Ned Davis and Tim Botsky, featured
drummers Chris Azuna and Jim McCarty, Hammer Dulcimer
player Patrick McCaffrey, and rapper Barak.
